220 miles; 30 days solo; A hike along the John Muir Trial
This August, Pamela Zoolalian has decided to walk 220 miles along the John Muir Trail: from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney, in an effort to raise $15,000 for Aspire2Be.
Pamela knows firsthand the positive effects actions sports and art can generate, as her own experience with both have helped shape who she is. She knows the drive and determination it takes to be successful in the board sports world and plans on bringing that drive to her solo hike.
Pamela’s reasons for choosing this adventure:
"Hiking this trail has been a long time goal of mine. I hope my solo hike will inspire young women to know that they can do anything they put their mind to. One never forgets their first big adventure. It can be a life changing experience. I am hoping to not only raise funds for Aspire2Be, but also, inspire a sense of adventure in the girls who need it most." -Pamela.
To help Pamela reach her fundraising goal of $15,000, all of which will be used for Aspire2Be's youth mentoring programs, please go to our donations page.
